In a new advertisement for her non-alcoholic mixer drinks, the “Gossip Girl” alum is heating up the summer.
Blake Lively is stepping up her game!
The 35-year-old ex-Gossip Girl star made a stunning debut in a new commercial campaign to support her Betty Buzz beverage line. Lively tagged three Instagram pictures with the phrase “Grapefruit @bettybuzz – a real crowd pleaser” on Thursday.
The Age of Adaline actress wore a visor that cast a red shadow over her face in the carousel cover photo as she looked at the camera. She brought the Betty Buzz glass to her red lips while wearing her hair in bunches and flashing some gold jewellery. Lively displayed newly painted red nails during the session as well.
In the second image, the celebrity is seen cooling off with a drink while standing next to a pool and flashing her red bikini top. Lively was beaming for the big unveiling while her product was on display.
Lively published further Instagram postings with additional images from the shoot. She highlighted the Meyer Lemon and Lemon Lime flavours of Betty Buzz in her posts.
She shared an interesting shoot-related fact on her Instagram Story. “This is not a wild mating ritual that was captured. (even though it’s possible),” she wrote. “I genuinely drink Meyer Lemon @bettybuzz all day. Each day.
“I am our number one customer,” the brand’s founder continued. “I respect our customer’s privacy so I won’t reveal that @vancityreynolds is our number 2 customer.”
Lively and Ryan Reynolds got married in 2012, and since then, their humorous banter has become well-known online. Together, the Deadpool 3 actor and the Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants alum have four kids: James, 8, Inez, 6, Betty, 3, and a fourth child, whose gender was subtly revealed in February 2023.
With her loved ones in mind, Lively gave her beverage firm their name. “Ernie Lively was my dad’s nickname, although his real name was Ernest Brown Jr. When the non-alcoholic mixers were introduced in 2021, she remarked in a press statement, “He gave up his last name when he married my mum and any success he, or I, have enjoyed has been in a name that isn’t his.
“So when I was working hard to build this company, I wanted any success to be in a name that was meaningful to him. Betty was his mom and his sister’s name. Also, Ernie would not be the best name for a mixer,” Lively admitted before explaining the inspiration behind the fizzy flavors.
“I don’t drink. I know that’s odd coming from the wife of an infamous gin slinger. Over the past many years of mixing but not drinking cocktails, it became clear mixers are the unsung heroes of the drink world and deserve just as much love as alcohol,” Lively explained. “We’ve spent the last three years crafting Betty Buzz and are so excited for people to finally taste it.”
The mother of four made the decision to include some booze in the mix by 2023.
“These are the recipes I’ve been making for loved ones for years. But I have 4 kids now. And I’m tired. So here they are in a can. Enjoy. Responsibly…ish,” Lively announced in June when she unveiled her latest project — Betty Booz, or as she calls it, the “sister to Betty Buzz.”
“Drinking isn’t my thing. But for f* sake, flavor is. Homemade recipes. Real fruit. Real ingredients. Quality booze. No crap. Also a real time saver. Which is why I really did it. @bettybooze,” she captioned an Instagram photo showing off the new line.
